Monday 4th September

  • "Mental Health & Wellbeing Stakeholder Event focussing on Personality Disorders". With keynote speakers Rex Haigh FRCPsych, Consultant Psychiatrist in Medical Psychotherapy, Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust who will be accompanied by experts with lived experience/peer mentors and Paul Jennings, Mental Health Team and Project Lead - High Intensity Network Hampshire Police - arranged by Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group, 10.00am - 3.30pm at Kingfisher Church, Moor Street, Tredworth, Gloucestershire, GL1 5QQ. Wednesday 6th September

  • Free drop in walking football – arranged by Cheltenham Town Football Club, LCI Stadium, Whaddon Road, Cheltenham, GL52 5NA, 12.00pm – 1.30pm. The walking football sessions will take part across the road from the club on the grass area. Samaritans volunteers will be available.

  • University of Gloucestershire Freshers Fayre, Samaritans volunteers will be at the Forest of Dean Campus

Thursday 7th September

  • “Keeping us Safe” A conference about the work of the services outside the NHS who help to prevent suicides, and how members of the public can also help – arranged by Suicide Crisis, 10.00am - 4.00pm at Gloucester Guildhall,  for further information email contact@suicidecrisis.co.uk 

  • University of Gloucestershire Freshers Fayre, Samaritans volunteers will be at the Gloucester Campus

  • Parenting Support Drop In (with cake and special offers in The Cavern) - arranged by Kingfisher Treasure Seekers Ltd, at Chuckaboos, 52 Westgate Street, Gloucester

Friday 8th September

  • Soul Talk (Youth Listening Service) Drop In - arranged by Kingfisher Treasure Seekers Ltd, at The Cavern, Gloucester from 4pm

Saturday 9th September

  • Newent Onion Fayre, Samaritans volunteers will be in the town of Newent
  • Support at The Cavern (Mental Health Drop In) - arranged by Kingfisher Treasure Seekers Ltd, at The Cavern, Gloucester, all day

Sunday 10th September

  • Volunteers will be at Cheltenham Railway Station – arranged by Cheltenham & District Samaritans (further details to be confirmed)
  • Frampton Country Fair - Samaritans volunteers will be at Frampton Court Park, Gloucestershire, GL2 7HS. Gates open at 9.00am. 

Tuesday 12th September

  • Exhibition by students of Art for Wellbeing Adult Education group - arranged by Creative Communities at Gloucester Cathedral (further details to be confirmed)

  • Stroud College Freshers, Samaritans volunteers will be at this event
